A Weekend At The Harley Museum.

I flew into Milwaukee Friday afternoon and headed over to the HD museum for some chicken wings and cheese curds, a local delicacy, before taking a stroll through the well organised halls. It's such a good place and if you haven't been before then get here if you can, it's so worth a visit. There low and behold and much to my surprise was an exhibit dedicated to the Lost Road movie. What an amazing job Jim, the museum curator, had done. Gentry's pan, Ryan's knuckle and Troy's shovel where all on display still with their cross country road grime and dirty clothes etc along with artifacts and photographs from the journey and some footage projected onto the wall behind the bikes. Josh's ironhead was not part of the display as he was outside riding it in the field games taking place on the lawn in front of the museum Saturday afternoon. Saturday night saw the world preview of the Lost Road movie and despite the thunder, lightning and torrential rain a lot of people still braved the weather. Although still unfinished it looked great and got a fantastic reception. Rocco Deluca capped the night off with a killer live set with the rain still pouring down outside. Good times indeed.
The Lost Road exhibit is on display till mid September.
